Dear Prospective CIIA^® Student,

It is commonly recognized that these last years, the financial markets have faced deep changes all over the world.

To meet the arising challenges, training, with some other topics such as ethics, appears one of the major answers.

In this spirit, the creation of the international designation called Certified International Investment Analyst, suited for all the world’s investment analysts is to be stressed upon.

What makes this diploma, created five years ago, so attractive that 26 Societies of Financial Analysts and two Federations, representing today more than 50,000 investment analysts throughout the world, have so rapidly joined the Association of Certified International Investment Analysts, the organisation which delivers the CIIA® diploma ?

If I had to sum up in one word, I would say « Respect », more especially :

• respect of local cultures, history and specific organisation

• respect of languages

• respect of ethics

• respect of a truly international content

• respect of high technical standards

And beyond the high professional quality of the CIIA®, let me add that we are pleased and proud to note the atmosphere of understanding and mutual respect existing between all Member Societies.
